Crime Why It Happens

Crime, occurs because it is natural and there is no way to avoid it. There never has been a way to fully prevent crime, and there probably never will be a way. Throughout history crime has occurred either as self defense, revenge or the individual committing the crime may have a mental disorder.
Crime is a part of who we are as humans; we commit crime to cause hurt and desperation, to get back at others and make them pay for the mistakes. We also commit crime because in society there is a detachment between what is real and what is not. There is so much violence in the world of our children and societies youth. Violence is in on T.V. and in movies, on YouTube, on the games they play. Violence has become a regular occurrence and children are unable to differentiate between real life and electronic fiction. Believing in electronic fiction allows children to act violently and commit crimes without seeing their actions as being a problem. Violence in the lives of children can also come through their upbringing.  A child growing up in a violent house is most likely to pick up on violent outrages. This violence is something they will carry with them throughout their lives, whether they chose to act upon that differs from each child.
Crime surrounds us no matter where we live or our financial situation, there is simply no way to avoid it. Simple daily crimes range from not paying the proper fare for the bus or jay-walking. Although they seem harmless they are still illegal none the less. Extreme violence or crime range from domestic violence, murder, trespassing, and stealing. In our society we generally see simpler crimes, but more severe crimes do still occur.
